In this strategic role, you will oversee all aspects of HR from high-level strategy to hands-on operations, ensuring our people and culture thrive. If youre excited about leading the people strategy in a dynamic, innovative company, wed love to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesStrategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with MAFs business goals and core values. Provide guidance to the executive team on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent development.HR Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, employer branding, and compliance with relevant labor laws. Ensure HR policies and processes run smoothly and efficiently.Remote Team Culture: Champion a remote-friendly culture that keeps our distributed team engaged and connected. Implement initiatives for effective remote onboarding, communication, and team-building. Develop policies that support flexible work while maintaining high performance and accountability.Talent Development & Retention: Lead programs for employee training, career development, and succession planning. Foster a positive work environment where team members can grow their skills and advance in their careers. Monitor engagement and retention metrics, and take action to continuously improve the employee experience.HR Team Management: Manage and support our HR Generalist (and future HR team members), providing mentorship, guidance, and professional growth opportunities. Ensure the HR team delivers excellent service to employees and leadership.Executive Collaboration: Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on all human capital matters. Work closely with department heads to address staffing needs, advise on performance evaluations, and guide organizational change initiatives. Contribute to cross-functional decision-making as the voice of people strategy.QualificationsEducation & Experience: Bachelors degree (or higher) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a senior HR leadership role.HR Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of HR best practices across recruitment, performance management, compensation & benefits, and compliance. Familiarity with Italian and European HR regulations and labor laws is highly preferred.Strategic Vision & Execution: Proven ability to align HR strategy with business objectives and to drive initiatives from concept to completion. Experience developing and implementing HR policies and programs that support company growth and culture.Remote/Distributed Work: Prior experience managing HR for remote or distributed teams. Comfortable designing policies and engagement strategies for a workforce that operates across multiple locations and time zones.Leadership & Collaboration: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence and collaborate with executives and employees at all levels. Experience coaching managers and leading an HR team with a hands-on approach.Problem Solving & Adaptability: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Able to use data and HR metrics to inform decisions. Flexible and able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken). Additional language skills are a plus, given our base in Italy and international team.Preferred: HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD) and experience in the tech or digital advertising industry are advantageous.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive Salary: An attractive executive-level salary commensurate with your experience and the seniority of this role (aligned with industry benchmarks for HR leadership).
