What are your responsibilities?
- Project Management & Delivery Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring financial accuracy in tenders, budgets, and client reports. Provide continuous contract support and conduct financial reviews with project managers.
- Financial Oversight & Reporting Maintain financial integrity through regular project performance evaluations, tax compliance reviews, and reporting on contract work in progress and key performance indicators.
- Cash Flow & Billing Ensure accurate cash flow forecasting and timely invoicing to optimize income receipt and financial stability.
- Audit & Compliance Lead expenditure verification audits and support adherence to financial procedures, ensuring best practices within the business unit.
- Business Partner Support Assist finance business partners in implementing financial systems, providing insights at internal contract meetings, and ensuring seamless finance operations.
- Process Improvement & Team Support Drive efficiency in financial management, contribute to system enhancements, and support overall team functions with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting, Finance or similar area
- Strong knowledge and experience in finance procedures and processes
- Experience with expenditure verification audits
- Proficient in Excel and other financial tools
- A team player with an independent and proactive mindset
- Excellent knowledge of French and/or Dutch with a professional knowledge of English
- Client-focused approach
- Continuous learning mindset
