We are looking for a Sustainability Monitoring and Reporting Manager to join our Group Sustainable Development Team based in Milan.How you make the differenceBolton recognizes the importance of transparency in our sustainability monitoring and reporting process. The Monitoring and Reporting Manager, at Group Level, will play a critical role in ensuring the progress of our sustainability roadmaps and decision-making processes through quality data and detailed information.This position will lead our sustainability reporting efforts, focusing on CSRD, EU Taxonomy, UN Global Compact COP, and ISSB standards. Responsibilities include identifying data gaps, benchmarking, improving data collection, developing digital tools, providing training, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to maintain compliance with regulations and standards.Key responsibilities:Lead analyses to identify gaps in sustainability data monitoring and reporting practices.Develop and implement plans to enhance the sustainability reporting process and ESG data monitoring.Oversee data collection, validation, and analysis for sustainability management, including daily practices and annual disclosures.Provide training and lead Business Units and Central Functions in reporting and monitoring sustainability performance.Ensure compliance with ESRS, ISSB, and EU Taxonomy in collaboration with the F&A Department.Monitor evolving regulations, standards, and best practices to adapt internal processes and digital tools with the IT Department.Your team:You will report directly to the Group Sustainable Development Director and manage a dedicated budget and a Sustainable Development Controller.What makes you a great fit:Degree in Economics, Finance, Sustainability, or related fields; advanced certifications are a plus.At least 3 years experience in sustainability monitoring and reporting, preferably in large corporations or consultancy agencies, with strong knowledge of CSRD and EU Taxonomy requirements.Deep understanding of sustainability reporting, data collection processes, and familiarity with tools like Power BI, SAP, and Tagetik. Knowledge of auditing, Double Materiality, and ERM is desirable.
