What Youll Do (KeyResponsibilities) Your role will centre on providing deep technicaldesign expertise to support the sales process and help secure newbusiness, while upholding the rigorous standards that define ourindustry. - Technical Solution Design for Sales: Assess complexclient technical requirements and design innovative, compliantsecurity solutions during pre-sales. Ensure proposed designs alignwith international security standards and regulatory frameworks. -Proposal and Bid Support: Translate technical designs and clientneeds into detailed, compelling proposals, quotes, and estimatesfor prospective projects. Contribute technical content to bids andtender submissions, articulating why Convergint is uniquelyqualified. Ensure technical proposals adhere to pricing structures,service tariffs, and profitability margins where applicable. -Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Engage proactively withpotential clients and stakeholders to understand their technicalchallenges and align proposed solutions with their needs. Delivercompelling, data-driven presentations of technical concepts andproposed solutions to key decision-makers.. Act as a trustedtechnical advisor to clients during the sales cycle -Collaboration: Work closely with Business Development Managers,Sales teams, Project Management, and Service teams to ensure aseamless handoff from pre-sales design to project execution.Collaborate with regional account managers, the SES deal deskteam, and product partners. - Technical Expertise and KnowledgeSharing: Provide technical guidance and support to sales teams.Identify technical risks and potential challenges within proposedsolutions early in the sales process. Maintain deep, up-to-dateknowledge of Convergints security products, solutions, and valuepropositions across vertical markets. - Market Understanding: Useyour technical knowledge to identify potential markets andcustomers and contribute to strategies that differentiateConvergint. What Youll Bring to the Table (Skills &Experience) We seek a results-driven professional with a potentblend of technical design expertise and client-facing commercialskills. - Technical Proficiency: - Expertise in technical designfor electronic and physical security systems, including CCTV,access control, intrusion detection, fire prevention, life safety,and building automation equipment. - In-depth knowledge of securitystandards. - Solid understanding of electronic security systemprinciples and practices. Knowledge of enterprise electronicsecurity systems is highly desirable. - Familiarity withConvergints product offerings. - Ability to interpret technicaldrawings, schematics, and manuals. - Commercial & ClientSkills: - Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability toidentify and translate technical needs into sales opportunities. -Exceptional customer focus and ability to build and maintain strongrelationships with clients and stakeholders. - Outstanding verbal,written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the abilityto engage stakeholders at all levels and deliver impactfultechnical presentations. Ability to influence others. - Strongnegotiation skills, particularly in defining technical scope andrequirements. - Experience in bid writing and crafting winningproposals and estimates is highly advantageous. - General Skills: -Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving andsolution development. - Strong organisational skills with theability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities andcompeting priorities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook,Word, Excel) and comfortable with CRM tools
