Location: Milan, Italy Department: Payroll department,Finance Reporting to: Manager Payroll We have an excitingopportunity for a Payroll Specialist Italy (Temporary Contract)Department overview: The Payroll Department is an integral part ofthe MK EMEA finance team, responsible for processing payroll incompliance with applicable laws. We ensure timely and accuratepayments to employees and third parties, including social security,pension, and tax authorities, across 20 European countries. Who YouAre: You are detailed oriented, good at organizing your workday, agood communicator and capable of working with minimal supervision,honest, good at following instructions well, competent withspreadsheets. What Youll Do: You will be responsible fordelivering accurate, timely, and efficient payroll services, with astrong focus on compliance and providing an excellent experiencefor MK employees. This role also serves as backup support withinthe team. - Manage the payroll process for Italy, ensuring timelyand accurate payments to employees and third parties (socialsecurity, pension, and tax authorities) - Act as the primarycontact with external payroll providers, submitting data for themonthly payroll process, reviewing preliminary reports, andapproving the final version of payslips - Upload bank files forsalary payments in the treasury platform and request the necessaryapprovals - Coordinate social security, pension, and withholdingtax payments with the treasury team - Provide the accounting teamwith journal entries based on information processed in the monthlypayroll (including accruals) and follow up on any necessaryreconciliations - Serve as the direct contact for auditorsregarding payroll-related queries during the statutory financialstatement process - Resolve employee payroll inquiriesprofessionally and efficiently - Perform SOX controls asimplemented at the MK Europe level - Prepare and maintain standardand ad hoc reports based on payroll data, including statisticalreports and KPIs - Keep standard operating procedures up to date -Collaborate and support projects such as payroll migration, timeand attendance system implementation, and integration betweenpayroll provider systems and HR systems Youll Need to Have: -Diploma/Degree in HR/Economic educational background - Provenexperience as payroll specialist or in a similar role (at least 3years +) within multinational organization and CCNL Commercio -Professional knowledge of payroll accounting and labor law, socialsecurity, and income tax law - Experience in HR administrationprocesses - Proficiency in English; knowledge of another Europeanlanguage is a plus - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office,particularly Excel - Familiarity with Zucchetti and Workday is aplus Wed Love to See: - High level of accuracy and attention todetail - Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion -Service-oriented approach to work - Strong interpersonal andcommunication skills - Excellent administrative and organizationalabilities - Flexible mindset with the ability to prioritize andmeet deadlines in a dynamic environment MK Perks: Our purpose is tomake all employees and customers #FeelGreat with Michael Kors.
