Joining us means joining a caring, responsible, and innovative company where more than 70,000 people lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide.The Program V&V Designer will be responsible for the following:Specifies, designs, and develops validation environment & tools (test bench, recording tools, simulated I/O, etc.)Establishes validation procedures and criteriaEnsures requirements traceability according to product Requirements Management PlanPerforms validation (executes validation procedures; produces validation results report and associated defect Change Requests)Manages validation work products under configuration management according to product Configuration Management PlanMaintains strong communication with architects and designers throughout the V&V cycleApplies processes and standardsAlerts the V&V Architect to any events that could impact V&V QCD commitmentsContributes to continuous improvement (ROE, process, etc.)Requirements:Graduate in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Computer Science, or equivalent)Minimum 2 years of experience in integration and validationMinimum 1 year of experience in similar roles in safety-critical or mission-critical environments (railway, avionics, military, or equivalent)Proficient in English (French is a plus)Leadership, teamwork, and coordination skillsGood level of independenceStrong focus on respecting delivery deadlinesGood knowledge and use of electronic laboratory equipment for testing activitiesProficiency in C, C#, and Python programming languagesBasic knowledge of regulations CENELEC EN50128, EN50129, EN50159Basic knowledge of protocols FSFB2, NVFB2/3, IMP, SNMP, TFTPGood understanding of Change Request Management workflows and the ClearQuest toolGood knowledge of Requirements Engineering and TraceabilityAbility to author documents involved in activities according to ALSTOM documentation management processWork Location: BolognaAlstom is a leading company in the mobility sector, solving interesting challenges for tomorrows mobility.
