We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for a Senior IT Support & Systems Administrator / Engineer. This role is permanent position based in Zurich & comes with good home office allowance.Your Role: Effectively manage the resolution of reported support issues that in an efficient & professional manner & maintain communication with all stakeholders. Act as technical expert within the team, providing expertise to team members locally & globally. Plan & implement systems automation. Implement, maintain, evolve & operate state of the art IT systems, e.g., internal servers, cloud servers, backup & disaster recovery, patching systems, IT asset management systems, permission & procurement systems & more. Operate IT infrastructure systems including Active Directory, Exchange mailboxes, DNS, group policies, domain controllers, routers, firewalls, switches, VPN & networking technologies. Operate client devices running Windows, MacOS & iOS. Operate as system administrator for all elements of a modern business application environment, e.g., SAP B1, Chargify, SugarCRM, HubSpot & more. Build IT policies & implement operational best practices. Work with HR, Information Security & business operations units to develop automated onboarding & offboarding processes.Your Skills & Experience: At least 5 years of successful professional experience in a similar senior role. Skilled & experienced in administering SaaS applications. Experienced in developing Automation Workflows & Integrations for repetitive or manual tasks. Experienced or educated in most of the following areas:O365, Microsoft Messaging, Identity Access Management.Active Directory Management using Windows PowerShell.Cisco CCNA for Ubiquity WIFI and Cisco ASA.Gitlab.Atlassian Managing Jira Projects for Datacenters. Able to educate other team members in principles of Service Delivery excellence & adjacent relevant technology topics. Any experience in Coding / Scripting is considered a plus.Your Profile: Complete IT Apprenticeship or equivalent. Self-motivated, proactive, methodical, strong problem-solving skills, a quick learner & able to see the bigger picture. A team-player with a strong passion for IT & technology.
