GG Financial Consulting is a boutique finance consultancy supporting freelancers, founders, and BVs in the Netherlands with personalised, plain-English finance support.
Were looking for a reliable, detail-oriented freelance bookkeeper to join us part-time and support our growing client base, mainly freelancers (ZZPers) and small BVs.
This is a junior-level role, ideal for someone early in their freelance journey.
Initially, the workload will be around 1 day per week, with the potential to grow.
Responsibilities
- Handle monthly bookkeeping for a mix of freelancers (ZZP) and small BVs
- Reconcile and categorise bank transactions in QuickBooks Online
- Prepare and review Dutch VAT (OB) returns
- Support with financial overviews and year-end reporting
- Communicate with clients to request missing info or clarify bookings
- Assist with ad hoc catch-up/cleanup tasks when required
What we''re looking for
- 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Comfortable with ZZP and BV structures, Dutch VAT, and filings
- Excellent attention to detail and clear communication
- Fluent in English (Dutch is a strong plus)
- Freelance registration and own liability insurance preferred
Bonus if you
- Have experience with platforms like Stripe, Wise, or multi-currency bookkeeping
- Can explain financials clearly to non-finance clients
- Like working independently and proactively
