The La Chtaigneraie Campus is set amidst the picturesque rolling farms and villages of Founex overlooking Lake Geneva not far from the city. Teacher of History - Swiss Maturity Diploma

Temporary - 100% (full-time)

Responsibilities

• Teach History, Civics and Art History to students aged 14 to 17 years in both English and French
• Deliver the schools curricula for this age range: Maturit Diploma
• Write regular reports on student progress and participate in parent-teacher conferences
• Collaborate with colleagues and develop and share resources
• Participate in all school and department activities
  
  

Candidate Requirements

• Appropriate History degree and teaching qualification
• Experienced History teacher
• Experience of the Maturit programme
• Fluency in English and French is essential - Teaching is conducted in both languages (Standard Maturit and Bilingual Maturit)
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• A caring, sensitive attitude towards students; an outstanding and inspirational teacher
• Excellent communication skills with colleagues and parents
• Knowledge and experience of school management systems (Managebac and ISAMs will be advantageous) and the Google Educator Suite
