JUNIOR LOGISTICS TECHNICIAN
We are looking for a Junior Logisctics Technician to join our Corporate Supply Chain Department reporting to the Purchasing & Logistics Director.
The Junior Logistics Technician will give support to the Purchasing & Logistics area , Supporting the coordination and optimization of logistic processes in order to improve service avoiding problems related to damages, quality or lead times.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
The position involves the following roles and responsibilities:
Monitoring, reviewing and implementing Logistics proceduresSupport in the implementation of logistics technologySupport in the management of Logistics for transportation of supplies and final productProvide Logistics costs to Commercial DepartmentExecute logistic analysis to help lower operative costs and identify areas for process improvementSupport area management in the definition, monitoring and controlling of Logistics KPIs, contacting factories for clarification and explanations related to deviationsFollow up material delivery schedule regarding incoterm conditionsSupport in Custom & Taxes issues, including Anti-Dumping regulations and Logistics documentation.Study and assess in current projects and future developments reporting information for strategical Logistics decisions evaluating risks and opportunities.
PROFILE
2 years of Logistics Experience (Industrial Sector - Heavy Industry)Experience with Overdimensisonal Cargo, Heavy Structures, international transport will be highly valuedBachelor`s Degree in International Business.Master''s Degree in Supply Chain Management / Logistics Management will be highly valuedSpecific knowledge: International Transport; Incoterms; Overdimensional Cargo; CustomsFluent in English and Spanish (at least B2 level in both languages is required)Knowledge of Polish will be highly valuedExcel: Advanced user levelProactivity, flexibility and teamworking skills are a must
