Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in sales within the smartphone or consumer electronics enterprise space.
- Experience leading and managing partnerships and partner relationships.
- Experience working with the DACH enterprise landscape, including corporations or mid-market businesses.
- Ability to communicate in English and German fluently to support partners in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in sales management, business development, or partner management within the smartphone business, with a proven track record of solution selling to DACH reseller, system integrator, and enterprise ecosystems.
Deep technical knowledge of mobile devices and the related B2B ecosystem, including Android Enterprise solutions, zero-touch deployment, EMM/MDM frameworks, mobile security infrastructure, and Device-as-a-Service models.
- Deep understanding of localised purchasing behaviours and procurement cycles.
- Ability to qualify leads from CRM and digital campaigns, conferences, references, trade shows, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and manage at an executive and operational level within a changing sales environment.
About the job
The DACH DSBO team focuses on Google-branded hardware across product categories. Our team is responsible for managing partnerships with our top retailers, carrier partners as well as resellers and enterprise clients, including developing channel strategy, negotiating commercial terms, marketing and merchandising, and overall market share goals. We partner cross-functionally with marketing, product and engineering, finance, legal, supply management and retail marketing teams internally, and with our partner counterparts across these disciplines.
In this role, you will build strong partnerships with key resellers and system integrators as well as directly generate leads and drive sales with Enterprise Businesses. You will develop the business strategy and tactics to drive new and repeat sales based on outgoing and incoming sales leads.
You’ll require strong relationship-building skills, proven experience in negotiating partnerships and renewals, the ability to clarify and summarise complex issues and strong attention to detail. You also possess investigative skills regarding contractual, technical and financial issues with partners and bring with you the ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally at all levels of management.
You will be working closely with all functions across Google but in particular Marketing and Sales Operations to build, launch, and track sales programmes and initiatives.
The Hardware Partnerships team was formed with the purpose of bringing the best of Google’s software and hardware to our users by bringing to market and distributing a Google-branded hardware portfolio. The team is responsible for managing all partnerships with carriers, retailers and resellers worldwide. This includes the partnerships for products such as
Pixel,
Google Wifi,
Google Nest Thermostat,
Chromecast Ultra and
Google Home.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities
- Research, map, develop and manage business opportunities (new and existing) with Enterprise accounts.
- Develop strong relationships with relevant resellers, system integrators and solution providers.
- Promote products and services, and provide alternative solutions to exceed customer expectations, prepare quotes, follow up on orders, and solve client-related problems, follow up after sale to achieve referrals, and grow business.
- Meet assigned sales and business goals, track and report accurate forecasting on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis, drive and evaluate business growth of business opportunities.
- Build long-term relationships to help to realise and optimise value from partnerships.
