Medical Director, Europe - Rare Diseases Osteoporosis Location: Flexible within Europe | Travel Required About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Medical Director for Europe to lead our Medical Affairs function across the region. This is a pivotal role that bridges science and strategy, working in close partnership with the Commercial Department to drive the success of our biosimilar portfolio, with a focus on rare diseases and osteoporosis . Key Responsibilities Lead and execute the European medical affairs strategy , ensuring alignment with commercial goals. Act as a strategic business partner to commercial teams, using scientific data to support market access, positioning, and sales strategies. Collaborate cross-functionally with field medical teams , marketing, market access, and regulatory affairs. Serve as the medical expert for the region, providing insights and guidance based on clinical data and market dynamics. Ensure effective communication and alignment between headquarters and local affiliates. Represent the company at key scientific and medical congresses across Europe. Navigate the biosimilar landscape , leveraging existing clinical data to support commercial success Qualifications MD degree is required. Proven experience in medical affairs within the rare disease and/or osteoporosis therapeutic areas. Strong understanding of the European healthcare landscape and regulatory environment. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with commercial teams and contribute to business strategy. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills . Ability to travel across Europe as needed. Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus. Ideal Candidate A team player with a collaborative mindset.
