Overview
Our client, a fast-growing global organisation within the medical aesthetics and device sector, is looking for a Quality Control (QC) Team Lead to join their Quality team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong leadership experience in QC who is ready to take on a pivotal role in a dynamic and international environment. The QC Supervisor will lead the daily planning for the QC team, supervise junior analysts, and ensure that all testing and documentation is carried out according to SOPs and internal quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations and planning within the QC team
- Train and mentor Junior QC Analysts
- Conduct and oversee QC testing (chemical, physical, microbiological) on intermediate and final products
- Manage intake and release of raw materials using ERP systems
- Ensure QC testing is carried out in a timely and compliant manner
- Maintain and update SOPs, work instructions, and personal training records
- Report non-conformities and initiate Out of Specification (OOS) procedures
- Support equipment qualification and new QC projects, including equipment procurement
Requirements
Essential
- MLO/ROC diploma in Laboratory Techniques (Level 3 or 4) or HLO/Bachelors degree
- Experience supervising or mentoring QC staff
- Experience with daily planning in a laboratory or QC setting
- Strong command of English (spoken and written)
- Familiarity with QC equipment and ERP systems
