As part of the continued growth of its new Energypolis Campus, the School of Engineering is expanding its team and inviting applications for the position of :

Professor UAS for Embedded Systems and Secure Software (80 - 100%)

Position description

• Teach embedded systems, secure programming and communication technologies at both Bachelors and continuing education levels in the School of Engineerings degree programmes.
• Acquire, carry out and manage R&D projects within the Institute of Systems Engineering in the areas of embedded systems, secure programming, communication protocols and databases.

Selection criteria

• Masters degree in electronics, telecommunications, information technologies or equivalent. A PhD would be a plus.
• At least 5 years industry experience in embedded systems, secure programming, communication protocols and databases.
• Ability to teach technical subjects at Bachelors and Masters levels.
• Strong interest in knowledge transfer, interdisciplinary work and educational innovation.
• Ability to build industrial and academic partnerships and actively contribute to the applied research ecosystem at the Energypolis campus.
• Native French or German speaker with very good knowledge of the second language and English.

Employment : 80 - 100%

Place of work : Sion
