At Hays we are seeking a Commodity Buyer to join a multinational within the industrial sector in Castilla y Len.
Under the supervision of the department head, the buyer will operate at the heart of the company and supplier network.
Key Responsibilities
- The buyer negotiate and ensure the supply of sustainable and high-performing parts/services, respecting the objectives of ''Quality, Cost, and Lead Time''
- The buyer contributes to the - supplier selection process by managing the tender process.
- The buyer is responsible for the performance of their orders, negotiating the technical-economic convergence of tender responses, adhering to various milestones, and ensuring the companys social and environmental responsibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor''s Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in purchasing within the industrial, manufacturing, or similar sector.
- Experience in negotiating.
- High proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Availability to relocate to Valladolid.
