About the Role
We''re looking for a Software Engineer with a strong background in Java/Scala, Angular, and modern backend technologies to join our team and work on innovative, scalable systems. Youll be part of a motivated Agile team where collaboration, performance, and user-focused delivery are key.
Your Responsibilities
Design software architecture, data structures, and algorithms alongside fellow engineers
Analyze customer needs and translate them into clear technical specifications
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code based on specs
Integrate software components and third-party systems
Test, debug, and deploy applications across environments
Maintain and improve existing applications
Gather and evaluate user feedback to drive technical improvements
Prepare technical documentation for internal and external reference
Your Profile
You hold a Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
Proven experience with:
Java / Scala (Play Framework, Akka)
Angular
Kafka, Zookeeper, MongoDB, Git
REST API design and integration
Experienced working in Agile/Scrum environments
Proactive, analytical, and solutions-oriented mindset
Strong communicator with a collaborative team spirit
Stress-resistant and resilient, capable of working both independently and in teams
Fluent in French and/or Dutch with a good command of English
