Senior Software Engineer - Leading Quant Trading Firm, Amsterdam (Relocation available)

A leading quantitative trading firm are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join a new team, based in Amsterdam working on a high profile project. The team is currently building out a new data platform for real-time analytics and data streaming to researchers and traders across their most profitable trading area. They are looking for someone who will play a key role in driving the technical direction of the team and leading various greenfield projects, so strong skills in C++ are a must.

They are open to meeting individuals from any industry who have experience building large-scale, high throughput data infrastructure.

Compensation range of $300-500k (base salary + bonus) dependent on experience. Relocation visa support also available.

Requirements:

• Bachelor''s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Strong background in C++
• Extensive experience working on high-performance data systems and infrastructure
• Experience with real-time analytics platforms like ClickHouse
• Familiar with big data tools and frameworks (Pandas, Polars, PyArrow, Kafka, PostgreSQL, DeltaTable)

Please note, this role requires relocation to Amsterdam and will be on-site.
