We''re expanding our European PCB Team with an expert Application Engineer to drive customer success.The objective for this role will be to lead pre-sales engagements, lead assessment and solution mapping whilst providing strategic product demonstrations and running custom workshops/deployment guidance.You will transform customers'' PCB design workflows through:Taking ownership of customer requirements and processes analysis and provide solutions implementationDriving projects with a sense of urgency, strong organizational and follow-up skillsActively using engineering expertise and knowledge in PCB design and manufacturing implementation to provide the appropriate solutions to customersGood understanding of business requirements and ability to deliver solutions to meet business objectivesCore ResponsibilitiesTechnical Sales SupportDeliver compelling presentationsImplement competitive benchmarkingLead technical workshopsProvide specialized trainingCustomer SuccessServe as trusted technical advisorDrive PCB design solutions deployment to help customer successConduct on-site assessmentsDevelop account-specific strategiesProduct DevelopmentInfluence roadmap directionChampion customer requirementsEngage in market outreachRepresent at industry eventsYour ProfileOutcome focused professionalInternational mentalitySelf-motivated learnerAdaptable to evolving technologiesDesirableMaster''s degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering with emphasis in electronics engineering, or work knowledge and experience.Comfortable or willing to learn to present at all levels from technical to executive.Background as electronics engineer for several years, working with both PCB design and manufacturing, providing good understanding of the overall PCB development process, and a strong design and manufacturing competence.Relevant work experience with Electronic Contract Manufacturing (EMS)General knowledge of pick and place, inspection, and test equipmentSome programming knowledge (Python, ) is a plus.It''s an advantage, but not a requirement, to have Xpedition or Valor or any Enterprise EDA solution knowledge.Willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities to grow competence in new areas as the market constantly evolves.Commitment to make customers successful and win business for Siemens EDA.Excellent verbal and written presentation as well as interpersonal skills in English are required.Experience from comparable jobs is an advantage, but not a requirement.LogisticsThe candidate will report into the European PCB and System Solutions Technical Team.The role is pan-European and includes travelling from time to time, both European and International with multi-functional team collaboration.This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of PCB design while working with innovative Siemens EDA technologies.Why Us?Working at Siemens Software means flexibility - choosing between working at home or in the office is the norm here.
