Country Sales Director Benelux
For a well-known international automotive group we are looking for a motivated Country Sales Director for Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg to lead and scale their B2B sales team and drive revenue growth to expand their market share. Our ideal candidate is a sales executive with a proven track record of managing and leading B2B sales teams and driving revenue generation. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing all B2B sales channels, defining and implementing sales growth strategies to acquire new customers, building and managing a high-performing sales team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and applying a KPI based performance steering.
What do you do as a Country Sales Director?
Your scope includes the following departments:
- Small Medium Enterprises (SME)
- Key Account Management (KAM)
- Replacement
- Van Truck
- Travel Agency Sales
- Inside Sales
You manage in total approximately 18 FTEs. Current turnover responsibility is in the range of 25-30 mn. The focus of the role is on scaling new customer generation and developing existing customer base. Your reporting line will be into the Global Head of Corporate Sales as well as into the BeNeLux Country Head. It is also required that you will be in close and continuous exchange with the global sales channel heads in the HQ in Germany.
- Sales Strategy Planning: Develop and execute a BeNeLux go-to market sales strategy to drive revenue growth
- Team leadership development: Recruit, onboard and manage a high-performing sales team, setting clear KPIs per sales channel. Enable and develop sales team by sales coachings
- Customer acquisition: Lead the sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, nurturing existing customer relationships, and building long-term customer loyalty
- KPI performance steering: Utilize thorough data analysis to drive strategic decision-making and optimize sales performance
- Relationship building / brand ambassador: Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders and represent the company at fairs and events
- Collaboration stakeholder mgmt: Collaborate with cross-functional teams both in BeNeLux as well as in the HQ (such as operations, pricing yield, marketing, tender implementation) to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales initiatives
- Reporting: Manage and plan the sales budget, forecast and report sales funnel as well as revenue KPIs to the executive team
What we expect from you?
- Bachelor''s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field (Master''s degree preferred)
- Curiosity, willingness to grow personally, hands-on mentality with willingness to do things yourself
- Proven experience in sales leadership and revenue generation role in a B2B environment
- Demonstrated history in successfully scaling sales teams and hiring and onboarding top sales reps
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams from various countries
- Strategic thinker with experience in implementing sales strategies, creating and executing effective sales plans, and utilizing data analysis to drive decision-making
- KPI-driven, analytical mindset to effectively apply a performance culture within the team
- Strong capabilities in building and maintaining strong, reliable, and sustainable customer relationships
- Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce) and sales analytics tools
- Ability to travel as needed
