Salesforce Functional Analyst

We are seeking a Salesforce Functional Analyst to support a client in the energy and utilities sector as part of a major CRM transformation programme. As the company centralizes customer engagement and sales processes onto Salesforce, freelance consultants are being brought in to bridge functional needs between business units and technical teams.

The role involves gathering requirements, writing user stories, performing functional analysis, supporting testing activities, and aligning with both business stakeholders and development teams to ensure effective implementation of Salesforce capabilities across sales and service processes.

The selected consultant will join an agile product team and contribute to continuous improvements in customer relationship management, sales workflows, and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops with business users to gather and document functional requirements
• Translate requirements into detailed user stories and functional specifications
• Support the configuration and implementation of Salesforce Sales and/or Service Cloud
• Validate developments through functional testing and assist with UAT coordination
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and Salesforce developers/architects
• Assist with user training, documentation, and change management activities

Profile

• 5+ years experience in functional analysis roles
• Solid knowledge of Salesforce
• Experience translating business needs into functional deliverables
