Your Role: We are looking for a Senior Risk Governance Manager to oversee and manage seller onboarding to ensure compliance and mitigate risks associated with seller activities. In addition, the Senior Governance Manager will implement new process aligned with the industrys standard and applicable regulations, conduct internal audits, analyze data and carry out risk assessments on new features.
Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance:
- Collaborate closely with the Legal team to ensure practical and technical implementation of new regulations within the company.
- Develop and maintain internal policies and procedures aligned with applicable regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments on new Miravia features to identify compliance risks and recommend mitigation actions.
- Communicate with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders regarding risk controls.
- Use SQL and data analysis to build compliance reports for authorities and public disclosures (e.g., DSA Transparency Report).
Internal Auditing:
- Perform internal audits to verify compliance with company policies.
- Document audit findings and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with teams to implement and monitor effectiveness of these recommendations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with various departments to integrate compliance and risk requirements into their workflows.
Seller Onboarding:
- Oversee and manage the seller onboarding process and operations team, ensuring new sellers meet established compliance criteria.
- Implement enhancements to improve the onboarding experience.
- Serve as a gatekeeper to maintain quality and compliance without conflicts of interest.
Training and Awareness:
- Develop and deliver company-wide training programs focused on risk management.
- Ensure all employees understand and adhere to internal policies and standards.
- Conduct training sessions and regularly update materials to reflect policy changes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a risk management role, preferably in e-commerce or related industries.
- Skilled in preparing detailed risk assessments, identifying improvement areas, and leading implementation.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, data manipulation, and report generation.
- Expertise in data analysis and ability to interpret complex datasets to provide actionable insights.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools to clearly present findings.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High ethical standards, integrity, and proactive mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
