We were meant to fly.As a Development Quality Assurance (DQA) Engineer, you will be part of the DQA & PLCCD (Development Quality Assurance & Product Life-Cycle Configuration and Documentation) team within the Controls, Accessories and Marine (CAM) organization.CAM is responsible for Controls products at Avio Aero, including digital control units (software per RTCA/DO-178, AQAP 2210) and complex hardware (per RTCA/DO-254).Your role will involve providing independent assurance that the development and design change processes for CAM products (software and hardware) are compliant with the company quality system and regulatory standards.Essential ResponsibilitiesReview requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing feedback from a Quality Assurance perspective.Prepare QA competence documents such as Qualification Plans, Procedures, Quality records, and checklists.Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure projects meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.Participate in design reviews to ensure product specifications align with quality objectives.Estimate, plan, and coordinate QA activities effectively.Qualifications/RequirementsBachelors degree in STEM disciplines or a High School Technical Diploma with relevant industry experience.Experience in quality assurance and/or design and development for software and/or hardware.Collaborative attitude and critical thinking skills.Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset.Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.Work Visa and Italian Citizenship are required.Desired CharacteristicsSystem mindset and problem-solving skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.What We OfferWe promote remote work when possible and prioritize work-life balance, offering programs to support wellbeing and psychological safety.Total RewardsPerformance bonuses and local bonus schemes.Flexible benefits platform.Insurance coverage, medical benefits, and employee assistance programs.Recognition awards, discounts, language and technical training.Inclusion & DiversityWe are committed to maintaining an inclusive environment, making employment decisions regardless of personal attributes or background.
