Currently we are looking for a SAP application manager for Logistics & Supply Chain.
Your key responsibilities involve:
Demand Management:
- Stakeholder management: Act as the main point of contact and capture IT related business requirements in one or more business domains aligned with their specific goals.
- Propose IT solutions to fulfill the business requirements.
- Initiate change requests and projects for execution by our external partners.
- Assign priorities to the change requests and projects together with the business analysts.
- Manage the project portfolio and prepare budget proposals for the next years.
- Evaluate and compare implementation proposals of different IT providers.
Project delivery:
- Follow up on the progress and budget of change requests and projects in the business domains assigned to you.
- Play an active role in the project management of changes requests and projects within your domain.
- Coordinate the communication between our internal customers and our IT partner.
- Oversee issue resolution efforts, coordinate between the business and the support partner.
Application architecture:
- Manage the application landscape in your domain and make proposals for simplification and optimization in line with the IT strategy.
- Provide guidance for the application & integration roadmap for Logistics & Supply Chain.
- Ensure that the data flows within and across the applications in your domain comply with data protection and security standards and other non-functional requirements.
- Work closely with the business process analysts in order to achieve simplification of the business processes
- Follow up technological innovations and evaluate opportunities for landscape optimization.
Your profile:
- You have a masters degree, preferably in IT, business administration or commercial engineering or equivalent through experience.
- You are familiar with ERP systems and SAP products as a functional consultant; SAP SCM (Supply Chain Management), SAP MM.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain Management are a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP WMS/EWM, Interfacing to 3rd party warehouse systems and Microsoft M365 Suite are an asset.
- You can prove a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in IT project management.
- You have experience with business processes in Logistics and Supply Chain.
- You have experience with business relationship management in an enterprise environment
- You can work independently and can plan and manage your work within a multi-tasking environment.
- You aim for a high level of quality (First time right).
- You are highly motivated and eager to learn new skills.
- You are fluent in English, both in writing and orally. Dutch is an asset.
