Job discription

Together with the AP team, you will be responsible for maintaining an accurate accounts payable administration. The role covers administrative responsibility for approximately 1 billion in expenses. As the Team Lead, you will have close communication with several stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and service providers. Within Sunweb Group, a distinction is made between business suppliers (direct costs) and organizational suppliers (indirect costs). In your role, you will also contribute to Sunwebs supplier NPS.

You will report directly to the Head of Accounting and lead a team of 15 FTE. The Accounts Payable team is part of the Accounting department within Finance. This also includes the Accounts Receivable and Financial Accounting teams. Within Finance, there is also a team of Controllers.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Leading the Accounts Payable team, ensuring a timely and accurate accounts payable administration;
• Ensuring on-time payments to suppliers, and actively contributing to Sunwebs supplier NPS. Through service-oriented communication, you will strengthen supplier relationships. You will also seek opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives;
• Actively identifying improvements and optimizations within the accounts payable process;
• Contributing to accounting-related matters, objectives, and (strategic) developments across the Accounting department, in collaboration with the Head of Accounting and the other Accounting teams;
• Acting as the key point of contact and sparring partner for Procurement and other departments involved in accounts payable processes, with a strong focus on stakeholder management across Sunweb Group.

Requirements

For the role of Team Lead, solid knowledge and experience in team management within an operational financial or administrative environment is essential. This includes expertise in people management, process management, stakeholder management, and change management. A strong internal and external service orientation is also important. Additional requirements include:

• A completed Bachelors degree in Finance or something related;
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience (Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Accounting, and leadership);
• Strong communication skills;
• You thrive in a dynamic environment;
• You foster a positive atmosphere within the team. You are flexible, socially engaged, supportive, a good listener, and proactive.

• Salary: 55.000 to 77.000 annually (including 8% holiday allowance);
