We are looking for a strategic Category Manager to oversee and drive the success of key product categories in our marketplace. Key Responsibilities:
- Category Strategy Development: Analyze industry and consumer trends to devise long-term development strategies for product categories.
- Product Assortment Management: Determine the positioning of a product category to maximize visibility.
- Pricing and Promotion: Develop pricing strategies and promotional plans to maximize consumer appeal and profitability.
- Vendor Relations: Foster trust relationships with vendors to achieve better pricing and quality of services.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, sales, and supply chain to ensure alignment with category strategies and execution plans.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends.
- Preferred Category: Fashion, home and garden, FMCG, Electronics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree with more than 5 year of working experience.
- Fluent in English as working language.
- Proven experience as a Category Manager or similar role in a marketplace or other e-commerce environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using category management software and tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
