Job Description
The Commercial Director will be responsible for defining and transforming the strategic & operational long- and short terms plans of the Belgium operations. Furthermore:
- Setting Goals: Developing key performance goals and managing the performance of staff to meet the set goals.
- Strategic Planning & Performance Monitoring: Creating and implementing strategies for business growth, tracking and assessing the performance of teams and individual employees.
- Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control to ensure financial health.
- Operations Management: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, including production, logistics and customer service.
- Staff Management: Overseeing recruitment, hiring, and training processes.
- Policy Implementation: Enforcing business policies, procedures and processes.
- Conflict Resolution: Resolving internal and external conflicts through mediation.
- Stakeholder Relations: Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers and partners.
- Experience and management of new product launches: sales & marketing / e-commerce etc.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate has at least 15 years'' relevant experience in:
- Master''s degree in economics, business management or related.
- Similar industries, such as FMCG (Consumer driven), Pharma/Medical, OTC or related.
- Full P&L responsibility.
- Transversal leadership skills: strong qualities and motivating teams effectively.
- Strategic thinking, with the ability to develop and implement strategies for business growth.
- Important track record leading in change- and transformation.
- Fluent in French, Dutch and English
