Our client is looking for an international Business Development Manager to identify new business opportunities and drive global growth within the Aftermarket Automotive Industry. In this strategic role, you will build C-level relationships, implement sales actions, and contribute to the expansion of our international logistics network.Our client is a global logistics and engineering company with +150 sites in +30 countries, offering tailored supply chain solutions across sectors like Health Personal Care, E-commerce, and Automotive. Employing over 15,000 people, it leverages advanced automation and client-focused strategies.Your MissionTo further stimulate growth within the Aftermarket Automotive Industry business lines, we are looking for a driven Business Development Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and seizing new business opportunities and attracting new customers to expand our global logistics platforms.Your ResponsibilitiesStrategy Implementation: Define the business development strategy with the team and translate it into a concrete go-to-market plan with targeted sales actions.Prospecting Networking: Build a strong network, create market awareness, and generate interest through active prospecting (cold calling) and presence at trade fairs, seminars, and events.C-Level Relationship Management: Connect with decision-makers and convince potential customers by building strong relationships.Commercial Negotiations: Work with colleagues to negotiate contracts and establish long-term collaborations with customers.International Growth: Contribute to the further professionalization and growth of the Aftermarket Automotive Industry Business Lines.Your ProfileYou are a true hunter: Prospecting and networking are second nature to youIndependent worker: You can implement a go-to-market plan autonomouslyDriven sales professional: Experience in business development or sales within the Aftermarket and Automotive Industry sectorStrong communication skills: Fluent in Dutch and English (French and/or German is a plus)International mindset: Willing to travel frequently (+20%).Experience: At least 5 years in an international environment within Aftermarket or Automotive (industrial)Our clients preference is to work on the long term with a candidate who has her/his own management company, there is room for a bonus and travel expenses.
