You will join a dynamic knowledge management team and play a key role in maintaining and improving the internal portalBUDGpedia.About the Project - BUDGpediaBUDGpedia is a comprehensive and frequently used knowledge portal serving more than 8,000 staff across EU institutions. It provides up-to-date news, guidelines and documentation on financial and budgetary matters. The portal was fully rebuilt in Microsoft SharePoint Online in 2024 and receives over 300,000 visits per month.Your RoleAs a content management expert, you will be part of the team responsible for the day-to-day management of the site. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team within the European Commission, support over 100 content contributors, and actively contribute to the quality, structure and usability of the portal.Key ResponsibilitiesContent Management and Support:Review, edit and publish content in line with EU guidelines and editorial standardsAdvise and support content contributors and end usersContribute to the development of user guides and training materialsHelp shape and maintain the site#39;s content strategy and quality standardsStructure and Maintenance:Clean up site libraries and lists (e.g. outdated, duplicate or incomplete items)Manage metadata and maintain the term storeContribute to technical documentation and enhancement proposalsSite Administration:Act as co-owner of the siteManage user access and permissions according to the site#39;s access strategyImprove user experience, navigation, search functionality and page design using SharePoint features and web partsRequired ProfileProven experience withMicrosoft SharePoint Online, preferably in a complex organizational environmentStrong skills inweb content management, editorial work and user experienceExcellent command of English (both written and spoken)Ability to quickly understand complex and technical contentProactive, well-organized, and able to work both independently and collaborativelyExperience working with public sector or EU institutions is an assetWhat We OfferA meaningful project in an international, public sector environmentWork on-site at the European Commission in Brussels
