We are looking for a "SURF UMBILICALSPECIALIST/ENGINEER (M/F)" for one of our clients, to be based inle-de-France, France for a long-term project (1 to 3 years,potentially renewable). "SURF UMBILICAL SPECIALIST / ENGINEER(M/F)". What will your responsibilities and missions be? MissionsThe Service Holder will be responsible for all dynamic and staticumbilical design activities, support for installation operations,and technical matters related to the project, as part of theinternal project team. This will include, but not be limited to,reviewing, approving, preparing, and managing all studies anddocumentation from Contractors, Suppliers, and Sub-Suppliersrelated to the Service Holders field of expertise during FEED,Call For Tender, and EPCI phases. The project scope includes: -Production system: 2 rings, 4 Steel Lazy Wave Risers (approximately25 km each), 6 wet insulated rigid flowlines (total lengthapproximately 71 km), and 4 rigid spools in Carbon Steel andCRA-lined pipe (WOL/MLP/HRB), as well as 19 rigid jumpers made ofDuplex material - Gas Injection system: 2 Steel Lazy Wave Risers(~12 km each), 2 rigid flowlines (~35 km each) in Carbon Steel andCRA-lined pipe (WOL/MLP/HRB), and 19 flexible well jumpers (totallength up to 19 km) - Control system: 2 dynamic and 27 staticumbilicals, 2 Subsea Distribution Units (SDU), 38 XTs, andassociated flying leads Along with associated subsea structures,equipment, and ancillaries, the project is for a very deep-wateroil greenfield development (water depth >3000m). The ServiceHolder will also support the control system, flow assurance,risers, and flowlines design specialists in all matters related tothe Service Holders expertise (including interference issues,chemical flow assurance, etc.). Additionally, the Service Holderwill provide technical support to the SURF Technical Manager andteam, while coordinating with other project disciplines such asSPS, FPSO, and Field Operations. Activities 1. Adopt anddemonstrate exemplary behavior regarding H3SE&Q, implementingand enforcing H3SE rules and requirements within the area ofresponsibility. Ensure all flowline technical documentation andSURF Contractor activities comply with H3SE&Q standards andpromptly highlight any potential deviations. Guarantee safe workingpractices throughout all project phases 2. Adopt and demonstrateexemplary conduct in accordance with Company Ethics and the Codeof Conduct policy. Promote and enforce the Anti-Corruption Programwithin the project 3. Take full responsibility for all FEEDumbilicals engineering activities and manage all related FEEDcontractor technical tasks within the discipline. Monitor FEEDstudies concerning umbilicals from vendors and engineering houses4. Prepare and ensure timely delivery of the umbilical sub-system(2 dynamic umbilicals and 27 static umbilicals) Call For Tendertechnical package for the SURF EPCI contract, taking into accountthe impact on other SURF/FPSO/SPS sub-systems (Steel Lazy WaveRisers, FPSO mooring lines, future risers/umbilicals development)5. Review and assess the fitness-for-purpose and compliance of SURFtenderers technical offers against Project and Companyrequirements. Lead technical clarifications with tenderers andensure timely closure of technical qualifications. Conducttechnical evaluations of tenders and support the preparation of theRequest for Technical Approval (RTA) technical section. Define,develop, issue, and maintain all necessary technical documentationrelated to umbilicals design and installation activities. Supportand participate in the development and maintenance of main ProjectManagement documents (SOR, FDP, PEP, PQP, Risk registers, etc.) 6.Ensure monitoring, review, and validation of progress performed bythe SURF Contractor and its suppliers regarding the discipline,analyze and report any deviations, and propose corrective actions7. Proactively propose alternative designs or technical solutionsas required, considering various project constraints, such asminimizing hook-up and in-place loads to reduce dynamic umbilicalfatigue, mitigating potential clashes with other SURF items (e.g.,SLWR and mooring lines), assisting the Installation Lead inoptimizing SLWR/umbilical wet parking configurations and transferactivities to the FPSO, and supporting SLWR engineers with Orcaflexstudies 8. Supervise and control detailed engineering by timelyreviewing discipline-related documentation issued by the SURFContractor (technical documents, queries, derogation requests) toensure compliance with Project Specifications, Procedures, andapplicable international standards, aiming to respect the scheduleand optimize costs without compromising Quality and Safety 9. Raisenecessary comments and highlight any unsafe designs, deviations,unjustified design choices, or constructability issues 10. Act asthe technical point of contact for contractors on umbilicalmatters, and follow up wi
