Key job responsibilities -Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing - Analyze and implementcorrective actions to make sure quality and productivity are atconsistently high levels, and business objectives are met acrossall shifts - Support and lead a team and handle administrative workalongside building and supporting a strong team culture - Analyzeperformance and suggest process improvements to optimize work andimprove customer service - Collaborate with other managers tostandardize shift processes A day in the life Youll work shiftsand be based at one of our operational sites. Your main focus willbe to maintain safety standards within your team and across yoursite. Youll also monitor and maintain process efficiency. Yourdays will always include prioritising routine team management anddaily operational tasks, alongside other tasks like individualescalations, process improvement work and wide-scale operationalcontingency planning. Being a key part of the operations teaminvolves working with colleagues in other teams and externalpartners to make sure we stay on track to meet our customer demandsand targets. This will involve analysing data and performancemetrics with leaders in your business area, as well as discussingthe operational pros and cons of technical improvements withengineers. About the team Amazon Logistics, or AMZL, handles lastmile delivery duties in partnership with third-party distributionbusinesses. We utilise creative thinking and continuous improvementinitiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands ofour customers. Our goal is to make our customers deliveryexperience as smooth as possible and roll out global deliverysolutions for our newest concepts, like Amazon Fresh, Prime Now andAmazon Restaurants. There are two sides to what we do. Our underthe roof associates process millions of products for dispatch toour delivery teams. Our team is people-focused and supportive,particularly as lots of our people work through the night. We focusmostly on operations, with 24/7 shifts in most of our locations.Meanwhile, our on the road people work with Amazon Flex - anetwork of delivery contractors. Every year, we continually raisethe bar for customer experience with new, innovative deliveryservices. We look for new ways to overcome industry wide logisticschallenges and new ideas to reduce our carbon footprint, supportedby a portfolio of cutting-edge vehicles (including ElectricVehicles) and technology to help us do just that.- Universitydegree (Bachelor''s or Master''s degree), completed before start date- You are willing to work in non-traditional shift pattern whichmay include nights and weekends. - You speak fluent Italian andEnglish.
