DescriptionThe opportunityDevelop or create products, systems, services, or technologies for Hitachi Energy''s Business Units by leading and managing the execution of one or more complex R&D projects to meet project targets. Coordinate work of multi-location and cross-functional project teams. Lead in partnership with business managers, steering groups, product management, and external parties to ensure value creation.You will contribute significantly to successful results in R&D projects globally allocated. You will support the team to meet objectives in Research & Development projects for our Transformer Business Unit in Monselice (PD), reporting to the R&D/Technology Center Manager.Your responsibilitiesLeading and managing projects and coordinating work of multi-location and cross-functional project teams. Motivating and monitoring internal and external resources to accomplish tasks and milestones.Managing project costs, schedules, and performance objectives within a program. Managing interdependencies to realize benefits. Developing business cases and ensuring requirements align with business needs.Understanding customer value and managing expectations to ensure customer satisfaction. Considering requirements from customers and internal stakeholders.Following sound methodology and execution practices according to internal directives, external standards, and best practices. Organizing monitoring activities to achieve stage-gates and resource efficiency. Monitoring project financials and reporting to the steering committee.Managing change requests, unforeseen results/events, and risks. Capturing and acting on opportunities.Serving as the key contact for stakeholders and an escalation point for issues. Communicating effectively to ensure understanding and support.Partnering with business managers, steering committees, product management, and external parties. Coordinating activities with product and business management.Developing and expanding relationships with stakeholders, research centers, and external partners.
