In this role, you will be responsible for developing services for our mobility and motors domain to improve in verticalizing and upleveling the services we offerto our users. You will be part of a cross-functional team including members from the areas of Product, User Experience, Analytics, and Engineering with the mission "to become the most convenient, fair and trusted digital market for second hand vehicles in DE”. What you’ll doWork together with your multidiscipline team to develop a better search experience for our buyers, better ad management for our sellers, and bring new services to themKeep the platform’s architecture clean, stable, and scalableHandle up to 60k requests per second while the platform is still growingDrive your ideas for code, process, and product improvementsEnsure quality and maintainability by improving build and test systemsBring in your perspective of how our users’ problems can be solvedWho You Are3+ years of experience in backend development.Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, RDBMS (MySQL),You have a passion for writing clean code and an eye for simplicity and pragmatism.Ideally, familiarity with operating microservices on public clouds (e.g. k8s and AWS)Knowledge of event-driven systems (Kafka) and distributed computing.Understanding of object-oriented and domain-driven design.A passion for continuous learning and knowledge sharing.Problem-solving and analytical abilities.Fluent in English (our working language).You have a speak-up mentality and point out things that are not right in your opinion.Additional informationLife at Adevinta comes with its perks!
