Our local TOMRA Office is located in Parma, and we are always looking for passionate individuals to join our organization.Position: Field Service Engineer (Rome area)We are specifically seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer around Rome.As a Field Service Engineer, you''ll be part of a global service team and will report to the Field Service Coordinator. Maintain a ''Safety first'' mindset throughout daily work at company and customer sites.You will:Perform field service activities including commissioning, operation, testing, integration, optimization, and maintenance of equipment.Conduct mechanical, electrical, electronic, and optical tuning and setup.Collaborate with customers on-site and provide consultancy to help achieve high performance and reduce food waste.Work on intelligent and pioneering technologies.Receive training and be equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools.Qualifications:At least 1 year of experience in field service or customer support.Working knowledge of basic analog and digital circuits, electrical power circuits, PLC circuits.Willingness to travel at least 80% of the time, with high flexibility (including holidays and weekends).Ability to read schematics.Strong technical problem-solving, troubleshooting, and follow-up skills.Ability to relate to customers and understand their views and issues across different cultures.Passion for Engineering.Fluent in Italian and proficient in English.Valid drivers license with a good driving record.Additional Information:TOMRA is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer, providing equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, age, national origin, disability, parental or pregnancy status, marriage and civil partnership, sexual orientation, veteran status, or other characteristics.
