CONTEXT: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivatedSenior Cloud Data Architect to join our growing data managementteam. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Data Management, youwill play a critical role in shaping the future of our dataecosystem. You will be responsible for supporting the definitionand deployment of a cutting-edge cloud data ecosystem, enabling anadvanced data intelligence platform. This role offers theopportunity to make a significant impact on our data strategy anddrive innovation within the organization. MAIN ACTIVITIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES: - Design, configure, and deploy robust andscalable cloud data architectures on major cloud providers toaddress diverse data management use cases. - Implement datagovernance principles and best practices to ensure data quality,security, and compliance. - Lead the evaluation and selection ofappropriate cloud-based data services and tools. - Develop andmaintain data integration and analytics workload optimizing forperformance and efficiency. - Manage the lifecycle of dataworkloads, including development, testing, deployment, andmonitoring. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, includingdata scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, tounderstand data requirements and translate them into technicalsolutions. - Contribute to the development of our overall clouddata strategy and roadmap. - Stay up-to-date with the latest clouddata technologies and trends. - Provide technical guidance andmentorship to other team members. JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor''s orMaster''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relatedfield. - Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud dataarchitectures, particularly within the GCP environment. - Strongunderstanding of data governance principles and best practices. -Demonstrated proficiency in developing batch and event-driven dataprocessing architectures using established architectural patterns.- Mastering scalable data management frameworks like Spark, Flinkand Beam, with proven experiences in full data lifecyclemanagement. - Experience building and maintaining data pipelinesfor both batch and real-time processing. - Proficiency in SQL,Spark, PySpark, Beam SDK, Flink SDK and other data managementlanguages and frameworks. - Proven experience leading teamsresponsible for delivering complex architectural landscapes anddevelopment teams implementing sophisticated analytical workloadsusing the aforementioned languages and frameworks. - Excellentproblem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication andcollaboration skills. - Experience with data visualization tools. -Experience with data science and machine learning workflows is aplus. - Certifications on Cloud Hyperscaler and Data ManagementTechnologies is a plus. LANGUAGES: Fluent written and spokenEnglish and Italian are mandatory.
