Watch us.What will you doThe Project Engineer is responsible for project design and execution to ensure timing, costs, and customer satisfaction objectives are met.Key Responsibilities:Supervises installation phase directly and ensures all safety conditions are always in place.Seeks a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and technology. Masters the interaction between materials and machinery.Identifies and shares user requirements (URS). Drives equipment standardization leveraging global platforms. Provides internal customers with meaningful information to increase project understanding among all relevant functions/departments and to facilitate their contribution. Conducts formal comprehensive design reviews with SHE and Quality subject matter experts.Plans equipment modification or installation with Planning and Production. Proposes alternatives to overcome constraints. Highlights criticalities and bottlenecks that may jeopardize project execution.Liaises with external partners (Suppliers, Constructors, Consultants) to ensure equipment acquisition meets project objectives through technical specifications, design review, acceptance and start-up tests.Manages knowledge transfer to end users (Production and Maintenance) through formal training sessions.Supports Production and Maintenance during equipment startup and performance validation. Executes secondary development programs if necessary to minimize impacts and accelerate learning curves.Innovates by identifying new or state-of-the-art technologies and proposing improvements. Assesses opportunities (CIP, capacity, capability) and evaluates capital investment and costs. Contributes to the BP Capital projects definition phase.Provides insight and technical support to the Global MAKE platform development.Supports regional engineering activities across EMEA.Qualifications:Required Qualifications:Bachelors or masters Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. Specialization in Process Engineering is a plus.Expertise in packaging lines.Desired Qualifications:Good knowledge of MS Office.Good knowledge of AutoCAD.Fluent in English.#J-18808-Ljbffr
