LSPI is looking for a new Supply Chain Specialist to join their team in managing the transport, distribution, and storage of drag reducers, also known as flow improver products.
The company operates a global logistics network with warehouses, transloading facilities, and a dedicated fleet of tanker trucks, coordinated by teams in Houston and Brussels.
To ensure smooth, on-time deliveries worldwide, LSPI works with a wide range of logistics partners from rail and ocean carriers to local distributors providing in-country warehousing and services.

Functieomschrijving
In this varied and hands-on role, youll be responsible for:
Shipping
- Coordinate shipments with Houston and Eastern Hemisphere freight partners
- Inform customers and Commercial Leads about deliveries
- Request quotes and organize local/international transports
- Suggest improvements to costs and supply chain efficiency
Transloading
- Follow up with transloading bases on procedures and product movements
- Maintain records and systems (SAP, Maximo)
- Weekly reporting on inventory at each base
Inventory Management
- Keep track of stock at transloading bases
- Schedule shipments to maintain optimal levels
- Maintain EH Inventory Model
Customer Service
- Keep customers informed on shipments
- Advise on customs and VAT formalities
- Support with inventory at customer and distributor locations
Administration
- Keep inventory worksheets and customer files updated
- Process orders and record all deliveries in Maximo
- Ensure timely invoicing and follow up on payments
Safety & Quality
- Follow up on container certifications conditions
- Distribute up-to-date Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Ensure proper labelling and compliance with quality procedures
Equipment Process
- Be the logistics contact for customs and equipment manufacturers
- Organize shipments of skids and spare parts
Invoicing & Budget
- Process and track invoices from logistics vendors
- Monitor supply chain expenses
- Send and follow up on customer invoices
Technical Aspects
- Understand technical needs in logistics and advise internal teams
- Help define the best logistic package for equipment shipments
SAP
- Use SAP for product ordering, inventory updates, and purchasing
- Request training as needed and suggest process improvements
The Team
- Reports to the Director EMEA-CIS-AP
- Collaborates closely with Business Developers, Engineering, and Supply Chain colleagues
- The team works in English, but the majority speak an additional European language
- Regular management meetings end with a friendly lunch at a local restaurant
- Occasional travel to meet local contacts
Profiel
- Degree in logistics or up to 3 years of relevant experience
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- SAP experience is a plus
- Fluent in English + another European language (Dutch, French, Spanish, German)
- Detail-oriented, communicative, and proactive
