Operate, maintain and develop the IPX signalling services and systems of ComfoneImplement and manage signalling links, including planning, routing, testing, documentation, and providing technical support to Comfone customers and peerEnhance Comfones IPX signalling network ensuring reliable performance and scalabilityProactively monitor the IPX signalling network and manage its capacity to ensure optimal performance and prevent issues before they impact serviceTroubleshoot services and resolve technical incidents worldwide to minimize downtime and restore services efficientlyProvide 2nd-level on-call duty support to internal and external parties
University degree or equivalent in the field of telecommunications, communication systems or comparable with a very good understanding of Mobile Networks and protocolsExperience in operating STP, DRA, PGW and HSS, as well as VAS platforms, including configuration, troubleshooting and performance optimizationDeep knowledge of Mobile Network related protocols and technologies, including SS7/SIGTRAN, Diameter, GTP and DNS, as well as signalling routing and roamingProficient in Wireshark/tcpdump and other industry-standard tracing/monitoring toolsAt least 5 years of professional experience in operating mobile networks or IPXKnowledge of the 5G SA mobile network standards is a plusAbility to script in Python, Linux shell and SQL, with knowledge of Linux system is a plusDynamic, communicative and customer focused, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable serviceFluent in English, both written and spoken. Extra languages are a plusYou are willing to work in Bern, Switzerland
The position is open to Swiss and EU nationals, and to holder of a valid Swiss work permit.
