As Head of Compliance you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of compliance program, ensuring that operations adhere to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct Rerporting line to CRO
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance policies and procedures
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of compliance controls and risk management processes
- Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance-related matters
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry best practices
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors as needed
- Investigate and resolve compliance issues and breaches
- Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and the board of directors
Your profile:
- Bachelor''s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field (Master''s degree preferred)
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a compliance role within the insurance industry (certification is preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a flat organizational structure
- Fluency in Dutch and French
