Job Summary We are seeking a Medical Director to joinour dynamic team. The Medical Director will have overallresponsibility for providing medical, scientific, and strategicleadership for the successful planning, execution, and reporting ofclinical trials. Additionally, this role acts as the Medpaceinternal medical expert and will serve as a medical resource forthe review, presentation, and interpretation of results in theClinical Study Report. The Medical Director will also be involvedin the development of new clinical projects, including studydesign, protocol, and project plans as required. We are currentlyseeking Medical Directors in the following Therapeutic Areas: -Oncology (adult) - Cardiology (adult) - Gastroenterology -Endocrinology - Radiology - Infectious Disease - Immunology -Nephrology - Neurology - Psychiatrist We are open to variouslocations throughout Europe. Responsibilities - Provide medicalmanagement and expertise for clinical trials; - Contribute medicalexpertise to study reports, regulatory documents, and manuscripts;- Manage safety issues in clinical trials and work closely withassociates in evaluation and assessment of the trials; -Participate in new business development through involvement inproposal and sponsor meetings as requested; - Coordinate with otherdepartments in all phases of the studies and trials includingfeasibility assessments, design processes, educational efforts,management of medical information, and reviewing and editing ofmedical documents; - Follow specific research related protocol andlead others in strict adherence to the policies. Qualifications -Must have an M.D. with board certification and current medicallicensure; - Must have prior clinical trial research experience; -Previous experience in pharmaceutical-related clinical research ispreferred.
