In this multi-faceted position, you will contribute to driving Numabs projects through research
and pre-clinical development. You will join a motivated team and be responsible for designing,
executing and analyzing cellular assays to characterize and profile the mechanism of action of
multi-specific therapeutic molecules.
Your Responsibilities:
- Generation of high quality, decision driving data in complex cellular assay systems to enable the progression of Numabs pipeline programs ininflammation andimmuno-oncology
- Increase the technical capabilities and capacity of the team by keeping abreast of state-of-the-art methodologies and techniques within the field of cell-based assays
- Presentation of experiments within team meetings and company presentations
- Work closely with team members and across functions to outline next steps and help to drive the projects to completion
- General organization of the laboratories, evaluation and acquisition of equipment and consumables
Ideal candidates will have:
- Completed an apprenticeship as a laboratory technician with several years of experience or a higher education in biology, (bio-)chemistry or pharmaceutical sciences
- Industry experience in cellular biology and demonstrated expertise in developing and optimizing cell-based assays
- Expertise in cell culture techniques, flow cytometry, cytotoxicity and proliferation assays
- Experience in the isolation and handling of cellular subsets from PBMCs
- Good understanding of immunology
- Experience in interactions with external vendors / CROs is an advantage
- Initiative, problem solving skills, self-motivation and curiosity
- Highly accurate and team-oriented working style paired with a high sense of quality
- Refined computer user skills (Windows, MS Office) and excellent communication skills
- Computational and programming experience is a plus (e.g. R or Python)
