Position Summary: We seek a mid-senior level Commercial Leader to drive our growth in France. This role is pivotal in shaping Convergints success in a key growth market. You will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of initially 3-4 FTE, while also actively managing your portfolio of business development opportunities and sales targets. As a strategic leader, you will cultivate lasting client relationships, secure new business, and contribute to achieving significant growth objectives. This high-impact position requires a dynamic, results-driven professional who thrives on building relationships, negotiating agreements, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of initially 3-4 commercial colleagues, guiding their performance and contributing to their professional growth.
- Manage individual sales targets and opportunities while overseeing and contributing to the teams overall commercial objectives [Inferred from prompt].
- Actively identify potential markets and customers within France.
- Develop and execute strategic plans and sales strategies to acquire new accounts and expand the customer base in France.
- Drive new business by targeting and engaging with potential clients.
- Build a pipeline of opportunities, managing it quarter over quarter.
- Work with real decision makers to assess needs, gain agreement on a business case, and establish a decision time frame.
- Lead the sales pursuit team to construct winning proposals, including the quote, business case, and why we are uniquely qualified.
- Present proposals to decision-makers and manage objections.
- Negotiate final terms leading to closed business, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
- Proactively contact potential partners, influencers, and customers to establish and cultivate meaningful business relationships.
- Collaborate with regional teams, the deal desk, and product partners to deliver customised solutions.
- Provide accurate monthly and annual sales forecasts.
- Represent Convergint, deliver compelling presentations, and manage pre-qualification and tender submissions.
- Ensure all proposals adhere to pricing structures, service tariffs, and profitability margins where applicable.
