Tasks and Responsibilities
For the installation of vacuum sewer projects in the Netherlands, we are looking for a Project engineer who will oversee on-site installation, coordinate and manage subcontractors, schedule colleagues, and serve as the first point of contact for the main contractor (often within civil engineering). When no projects are being installed, this role will also contribute to the planning of service fitters.
Your key responsibilities include:
Acting as the first point of contact and coordinating various subcontractors
Reporting to project managers and clients
Standing in for the Head of Technical Services in case of absence
Installing and maintaining vacuum wastewater systems
Participating in emergency services (outside office hours)
Occasionally travelling internationally as required
What You Bring
Work and thinking level at the HBO level in a technical field
Experience in a similar position or in service/technical planning
Knowledge of vacuum, sewer, and pump systems, as well as the ability to read drawings (preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Driving license B
Solution-oriented, proactive, self-confident, flexible, and communicative
Strong command of the Dutch language
