For our Supply Chain Planning department in Amsterdam, we are looking for a
Key Account Demand Planner (fulltime)
As a KA Demand Planner you are responsible for demand planning, forecasting and product reservation of Key accounts in the EMEA region and Marchon Turkey. The products are spectacles, sunglasses and glasses-cases. You will join a team of 9 and will report to the Supply Chain Planning Director.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Managing EMEA stock keeping units (SKU) forecasts for our Key accounts and Marchon Turkey
Collecting and reviewing forecasts and other inputs from sales and customers
Forecast entering and/or uploading into JDA
Permanently forecast validation against trends and sales-plans
Comparing forecast accuracy reporting against actual demand to understand variances and implement corrective actions
Establishing forecast and demand planning meetings with sales departments and reviewing their projected demands
Keeping strong relationships with sales, customer service, brand, merchandize, supply planners and allocation team to ensure effective knowledge sharing and an optimal consensus forecast
Participating in the unit sales forecast process to ensure the overall projected units for EMEA are current and revised according to trends
Reviewing stock levels and product reservation to avoid or minimize the impact of out of stock, especially in the period of excise increase
Analyzing market satisfaction to our supply chain services and processes
Supporting the European sales teams in all questions about product, inventory and life-cycles
Requirements:
A bachelors degree (HBO)
Experience in a supply chain planning environment (min. 3 years)
SAP and JDA knowledge
Excellent MS Excel skills
Ability to accept and meet critical deadlines
Fluent in English
Strong communication skills both written and verbal (initiate and present meetings)
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Organized, accurate and consistent, follow up is important
Able to work independently but with a team spirit
It would be helpful if you have feeling and interest for fashion industry
This position is hybrid, and is based in our Amsterdam office (Sloterdijk). You have the possibility of working up to 60% of your week from home (i.e. up to 3 days out of 5, per week).
