My client is looking for Data Scientist with Java (Spring Boot) and Oracle PLSQL, and I wanted to know whether this would be of interest to you or not?
Position: Data Scientist with Java (Spring Boot) and Oracle PLSQL
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands (hybrid)
Duration: 6+ months contract
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PLSQL
- Hands-on experience with Java (Spring Boot)
- Experience in refactoring PLSQL scripts into Java services
- Proficiency in test automation related to Java domain
- Experience in manual testing of PLSQL script adjustments
- Strong understanding of SOAP and REST for service integration
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Oracle Forms
- Familiarity with Unified Modeling Language (UML)
- Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments
- Investigating and solving performance issues in database and data retrieval
- Experience with Java 21
- Knowledge of message exchange patterns relevant to Java and Oracle SQL stack
