Role description The Privacy Officer at Privacy forAll supports the Data Protection Officer in fulfilling theirduties. Working under the direction of the Data Protection Officer,the main responsibilities of the selected candidate will be: Contributing to the executive and advisory tasks in the field ofthe GDPR; Advising on data protection and information securityissues from within the organization; Managing compliancedocumentation and supporting the ongoing development and updatingof the data processing register; Contributing to the DataProtection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and other risks assessmentsrelating to privacy protection; Drafting data processingagreements, data sharing and joint controllership agreements; Drafting and updating privacy and cookie policies for websites ofthe clients; Drafting information security and data breachpolicies; Developing the procedures for handling data subjectsrights requests; Conducting vendor assessments; Conducting deskresearch in data protection, digital policy and related areas ofinternational and EU law, including relevant case law of the Courtof Justice; Translating agreements and other documents fromEnglish to Dutch. Privacy Officer reports to the Data ProtectionOfficer. We look for We are seeking a highly motivated,proactive, flexible colleague with affinity for data protection orrelated areas to join a dynamic and diverse team. Preferably astudent enrolled in BA or MA program of law. Language requirements:proficiency in Dutch (C2 level, as we need you to be able totranslate legal documents to Dutch) and English (C1 level orhigher), knowledge of French is an asset Other requirements:enrolment in university programme in Belgium (well need proof ofenrolment in a higher education institution prior to starting thecontract) Working time: flexible (1-2 days per week) with a maximumof 600 hours during the whole academic year Pay and benefits Weoffer a gross wage of 15 per hour, including solidaritycontributions (2,71% by the employee and 5,42% by the employer fora working student) During of the traineeship, we will provide thetraining and preparation for the IAPP Certified Information PrivacyProfessional for Europe (CIPP/E) examination. After 6 months, youwill be provided with a voucher to complete your certification atthe expense of Privacy for All. We will provide you with acompany owned laptop and will off course reimburse any travelexpenses relating to your assignments. We offer flexible workingtime and the possibility of time off during the examination periodat university.
