The Brussels Times is looking for a general news reporter, based in Brussels, to cover and develop news for an international audience from the heart of Europe. We are looking for a highly motivated journalist with a keen interest in expanding topics relevant to people living in Belgium and beyond. This means everything from explaining what is happening in the Belgian government to breaking news on health, business, and social issues, as well as more international stories and topics related to EU Affairs. The successful candidate must have previous newsroom experience and used to publishing high-level written pieces with short deadlines. The position involves developing a beat within the country, making connections and sorting through leads to find interesting stories for a broad audience. The Brussels Times is the largest English-language media in Belgium. We are a young, dynamic and international team.
