Overview:
Were looking for multiple hands-on 2nd Line Support Engineer''s to join our IT team and play a key role in delivering reliable, day-to-day technical support across the business. This role is ideal for someone with solid experience in supporting Microsoft Office applications and a good understanding of basic networking principles.
Youll be responsible for handling escalated support issues, assisting with IT operations, and ensuring end-users have a smooth and productive technology experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd line technical support to end users via ticketing system, phone, and in person
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft Office 365, Windows OS, and basic networking
- Support and maintain user workstations, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Assist with network troubleshooting (IP, DNS, DHCP, connectivity issues)
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access through Active Directory and Microsoft 365
- Document solutions and contribute to internal knowledge base
- Work closely with 1st line and 3rd line teams to escalate or resolve complex issues
- Participate in hardware/software rollouts, patching, and updates
- Maintain high levels of customer service and ensure timely resolution of issues
Skills Experience Required:
- Dutch and English - REQUIRED
- Proven experience in a 2nd line IT support role
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Solid understanding of Windows desktop environments
- Basic networking knowledge (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, switching, wireless)
- Hands-on troubleshooting skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach
- Experience with Active Directory and user administration
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
