Clinical Nurse Manager 1 - Mental Health Permanent, Temporary Who We Are Community Healthcare Organisation 1 Donegal provides a broad range of services which includes Primary Care, Social Inclusion, Social Care, Mental Health and Health & Wellbeing Services. These services are delivered through the HSE and its funded agencies to people in local communities, as close as possible to peoples homes. The HR Department is responsible for the delivery and implementation of a range of generalist HR services within CHO1 Donegal and the provision of advice and guidance on HR matters. Description Candidates must have at the latest date of application: Statutory Registration, Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc. (a) Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition: (i) Are registered in the psychiatric division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI] (Bord Altranais agus Cnimhseachais na hireann) or entitled to be so registered. (ii) Have at least 3 years post registration fulltime experience (or an aggregate of 3 years post registration full time experience) of which 1 year post registration full time experience (or an aggregate of 1 years post registration full time experience) must be in the speciality of Mental Health or related area. (iii) Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role. (iv) Candidates must demonstrate evidence of Continuing Professional Development. Annual registration (i) On appointment, Practitioners must maintain live annual registration on the relevant division of the Register of Nurses and Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (Bord Altranais agus Cnimhseachais na hireann). (ii) Confirm annual registration with NMBI to the HSE by way of the annual Patient Safety Assurance Certificate (PSAC). Please note that appointment to and continuation in posts that require statutory registration is dependent upon the post holder maintaining annual registration in the relevant division of the register maintained by: Bord Altranais agus Cnimhseachais na hireann (Nursing Midwifery Board Ireland). Post Specific Requirements Candidates should demonstrate: A high level of mental health clinical knowledge to effectively carry out the duties and responsibilities. Experience of working across a wide variety of Mental Health Services. Experience of policy development and translating policy into action. Experience of quality audit/assurance systems.
