Driven by our continuousgrowth, for our manufacturing location in Bressana, Bottarone (PV),we are searching for a Procurement specialist that will be part ofour Material department. The role will focus on checking openpurchase orders in SAP on a daily basis, control the on-timedelivery of suppliers, directly contacting suppliers and monitoringthe expected delivery status of the various materials. Mainresponsibilities: - organize transportation for the material readyfor collection from suppliers - deal with the operationalmanagement of couriers, organizing the transport of materials toand from suppliers - organize transportation of customer orderswith complete monitoring of compliance with the scheduled times -prepare the shipment of orders for external processing(subcontracting) through the Subcontracting Cockpit in SAP: throughcollaboration with the warehouse assuring the pick-up of rawmaterials and the preparation for the shipping and the relatedtransport documents and ensuring that all goods are ready on time -operate on SAP creating the P.O.s for all consumables materials andas a support for urgent P.O.s - be a backup figure for all theactivities of the purchasing department - master data creation inSAP of codes for raw materials, consumables, semi-finished andfinished products - procurement of materials and operativemanagement of suppliers (verification of open orders status,supplier pushing and order dates acknowledgement in SAP) andoperational management of subcontractors - support to warehouseworkers for planning and organizing shipments of material to bereworked from and to the various subcontractors - Analytics ofperformance and costs of couriers Qualifications and experience: -3+ years of experience in the internal logistics management instructured production companies - Excellent knowledge andexperience with SAP (S4/Hana) specifically for master data and MMmodule (PP module is a plus) for both procurement and stockmanagement - Practical experience with Excel at least at anintermediate level (pivot tables, Vlookup, etc.) - Previousexperience in the operational coordination of warehouses andinternal logistics in production environment - Knowledge of stockmanagement procedures in SAP through MRP (reorder point/safetystock) and Kanban logic - Experience in inventory counts and cyclecounts procedures using SAP - Knowledge Italian and English atintermediate level Personal characteristics: - You are enthusiasticand self-motivated - You are hands on, result- andcustomer-oriented and have a strong sense of commitment and urgency- You are well-organized, able to prioritize and get things done -You have analytical skills and have a fact-based approach - You areable to communicate, interact and adapt to all level in theorganization (having the big picture in mind while still able towork on details) - You are a process-oriented person; you likechallenging the status quo and strive for continuous improvementJob Conditions: - The role requires occasional spot travellingthroughout Europe and Middle East for short missions - Contracttype - C.C.N.L.
