This increased demand requires WFP to find new approaches and ways of working to ensure resources are effectively channeled to those we serve.The Change Management and Business Innovation Unit (BIU), established in 2015, manages change and promotes innovation within WFPs Innovation and Knowledge Management division. The BIU acts as an advisory arm, composed of staff with top-tier management consulting backgrounds and UN experience, executing projects for high-level UN entities and serving as a trusted advisor to WFP and other UN agencies.Accountabilities / Responsibilities:Execute Business Innovation projectsManage Innovation and Change Management prioritiesPerform other related activitiesDeliverables:The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering specific project work streams, which may include:Supporting corporate initiatives and guiding teams on objectives, activities, and timelinesSupporting UN Reform implementation within WFP and across UN entities, including data collection, analysis, visualization, and communication effortsProviding additional project support based on pipeline needs and new contracted projectsQualifications & Experience Required:Education: Preference for a degree in business, economics, or engineeringExperience: About 4-5 years of experience in management consulting, change management, investment banking, or private equity, with at least one year in an international organizationKnowledge & Skills:Proven ability to develop strategies and innovative projectsStrong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitativeExperience with optimization processesCollaborative spirit and diplomatic communication skillsExcellent time management and ability to work under tight deadlinesSelf-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and lead teamsCommitment to the aims of WFPLanguages:High proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of a second UN language is a plus.The position is based in Rome, Italy, and WFP supports visa applications.
